Ploughs, the extensive Faza range
In the tillage segment, Faza of Città di Castello (Perugia) is present with a wide and differentiated range of ploughs covering a power range from 20 to 200 Hp.
The ADP, RV and D models, with bodies or discs, are very successful in African and Asian markets, where they are prized for their ability to prevent soil build-up on the discs (thanks to a half-axle scraper on each disc) and to work in a stable and balanced manner along the tractor's direction.
ADP models have a working width of 55 cm to 162 cm and a depth of 22 cm to 32 cm, while RV reversible ploughs have a working width of 65 cm to 155 cm. The depth varies from 28 to 35 cm. Both machines can be equipped with 600, 610 or 710 mm diameter discs. The D model is also equipped with discs (mounted on conical rollers, as is the directional wheel), but features a tubular frame, a first and second category 3-point hitch, and an oscillating directional wheel with cutting angle and lateral displacement adjustment.
In the mouldboard plough segment, Faza offers highly durable machines featuring a strong frame made of treated steel, a vertical bure (also made of treated steel) and a chisel-shaped plough body anchored to the bure. At the front is the perforated crossbar - which can be moved side to side to adjust the working width of the first body - while an eccentric pin in contact with the crossbar adjusts the angle of inclination of the frame compared to the direction of travel.
The mouldboard range consists of four lines, PM-PB-TBC-QBC, with working widths ranging from a minimum of 26 to a maximum of 180 cm, and with depths between 18 and 54 centimetres. Demand varies from 110 horsepower for the PM series to 180 for the QBC. Choosing Faza means a wide range and excellent Made in Italy quality.
