FAE is expanding its range of multitask heads with the new SFL model, a piece of equipment capable of carrying out not only shredding and milling jobs, but also stone crushing operations. The new head is designed to perform the tasks of three different machines, is compatible with 130 Hp and 220 Hp tractors, and is thus able to handle different types of materials and plant residues. It can in fact shred wood, shrubs, and roots up to 15 cm in diameter, and stumps up to 25 cm in diameter. It can also crush stones up to 10 cm in diameter, operating at depths down to 20 cm. These features make the SFL model an ideal tool for land reclamation operations, preparing fields for agricultural activities, and maintaining plantations, nurseries, vineyards and orchards. The cutting device is made up of a counter blade for crushing stones at depth and comb  counter blades for shredding plant and woody residues, both exposed and buried. The rotor is equipped with tools with  a work surface made of tungsten carbide to ensure performance and durability over time, while the hydraulic roller controls the working depth, optimizing the work. Finally, the center box alignment system allows the head to move freely in and out of the ground. The new SFL is available in two widths: the SFL-200 and SFL-225, both with double gear transmission. The head is equipped with a rotor with K/3 tools.
