TreEmme X Series, the new agricultural/forestry by Merlo Group's
Merlo Group's TreEmme X Series range has been expanded with a new model, the MM250X equipped with a 180 KW six-cylinder Stage V engine. The entire TreEmme range is equipped with hydrostatic transmission, which makes work faster and more precise, and with oil bath disc brakes, which allow the machine to be stopped quickly. These multi-purpose machines are designed to be used by contractors and local authorities who need equipment that can work both for forest maintenance and snow clearing. The MM250X is especially suitable for the forestry sector, thanks to the various hydraulically driven attachments with which the machine can be equipped, from flail mowers for making firebreaks to chippers for shredding biomass wood.
The new cab is spacious and positioned on Silent-blocks to reduce vibrations, and operator comfort and safety are provided by the steel structure and the frame reinforced with high-strength armouring in the most exposed areas. In addition, the cockpit is FOPS, ROPS and OPS certified and is equipped with a shatterproof windscreen. The driver's seat is elevated to provide a better view of the working area. The TreEmme tractor is equipped with four-wheel steering that provides different turning modes, on the front wheels, corrected turn, crab steering and optionally on the rear wheels only.
