The Solitair F seed drill: restyling in the name of versatility
Lemken has revamped its Solitair F with a new front hopper. According to the German brand, the restyling of this model is the answer to the growing demand for efficient front and rear combined sowing machines, equipment capable of sowing and fertilizing by combining large volumes with the quality of precision seeding.
The hopper has a capacity of 2,400 liters, is pressure resistant and is ideal for all types of sowing. It is equipped with four modular metering units with individual electrical drive. If the Solitair F is used as a single hopper, it can work in combination with the Azurit precision seeder for “under-root” fertilization or with the OptiDisc 25 seed drill bar. In this case, it is also possible to apply two pieces of equipment at the same time, using the Solitair F double hopper.
To maximize yields, Lemken has equipped the Solitair F with a new front attachment section that can better handle working with large tires or ballast weighing up to 800 kg, while the weight distribution between the front and rear of the equipment ensures greater safety and driving comfort.
Thanks to its advanced construction solutions - the German manufacturer states in a note - the Lemken Solitair F front hopper combines versatility, efficiency and comfort with customization options, the latter aspect being increasingly appreciated by farmers and contractors.
