The Primus trailed field sprayer, a leading series for the German Agrovision Company Lemken, debuted at the end of July following a total redesign by the manufacturer’s technicians with a new construction design for the working components of the machine and an esthetic facelift for a new and attractive appearance thanks also to new LED lights. With its practical equipment options the Primus trailed field sprayer complies in the majority of cases with regard to entry level requirements on up to professional and efficient plant protection. Primus has been brought to the market with a new ergonomic location of the controls for accessibility, a more rational device for the connector lines and internal locations of protection housings. Also new is the Lemken CCI-50 terminal with an intuitive graphic display. The terminal can be coupled with DGPS available as an option. This solution is ideal for using all the power of the App-CCI for such functions as setting the automatic management of the sprayer booms. The Primus sprayers, and those for the Albatros, comply with the Isobus standard which means they can be used with any type of Isobus compatible terminals and not only the CCI-50. Another new feature is a recirculation conduit coming as standard equipment which, when started, works along the entire sprayer boom to ensure maximum uniformity of plant treatment. The EES models, moreover, are equipped with an automatic management system for the hydraulics making it possible to control cleaning the sprayer nozzles directly from the tractor cab. To round out the restyling of the Primus sprayers are a flexible bar compatible for two positions and a new clean water tank with a volume taken up to 320 liters.
