MC, smart solutions for seed drills
MC Elettronica, a company specialising in the design of sensors and high-tech electronic components for agricultural machinery, presents new products for both precision seeders and row crop seeders at EIMA 2021. For the former, the product line consists of a wide range of new smart photocells and integrated systems that make it easy to manage and control all machine functions. The models of counting photocells (the universal Uni-Seeder, the special Uni-Seeder Tin, Tiny-Seeder for vegetables, the Maxi-Seeder and the Easy-Seeder), each with its own special features, are able to self-configure for maximum performance. Thanks to powerful integrated microprocessors and sophisticated digital analysis techniques, they can identify seeds of any size and shape.
The system is effective even in the case of very small and fast seeds, being able to distinguish them from dust or seed residues ground up during the seeding operation. As for row seeders, the dedicated line includes new latest-generation high-tech sensors (Pro Seeder D30 and Pro-Seeder 50) that allow the precise counting of the number of seeds passing through each row, or just monitoring passage. What's more, the line includes complete, highly innovative systems that allow control and monitoring of all machine functions: blockage monitor, variable rate and tramline. In particular, Pro-Valve is the 2-way seeding control valve, which enables on/off operation, allowing the seeding rows to be closed when tramline operations are required (automatic row exclusion with GPS systems).
Pro-Valve can include an integrated optical sensor to detect and count seeds in transit, with the great benefit of having 2 functions in one component.
