The versatility of the S7 Base flail mulcher by Seppi M.
Seppi M. launches the S7 Base flail mulcher on the market, made of S420 steel. The machine was designed by the technicians of the company in Mezzolombardo (province of Trento) to be combined with tractors with power between 50 and 160 hp and to adapt to different types of work. In fact, the S7 Base is intended not only for the maintenance of pastures and the cleaning of irrigation networks, but also for use on sloping terrain thanks to its centre of gravity close to the tractor. Available with different working widths (150, 175, 200, 225 and 250 cm), the mulcher produced by Seppi M. is equipped with a mulcher system consisting of the HELIX rotor; the robust SMO or SMW hammers are arranged in a spiral and allow cutting grass and branches up to seven centimetres in diameter, with smooth operation up to 10 km/h. Among the main innovations introduced by the Trentino company on this model, stands out the protection device consisting of chains and flaps that prevents twigs from getting tangled around the mulcher and also avoid direct impact with stones. In addition, the new reinforced belt protection recalls the typical construction of forestry machinery while the presence of deflectors on the sides protect the plants that are grazed by the passage of the machine. Like all the mulchers in the S7 line, the latest addition to the Seppi M. family, it is equipped with a height-adjustable support roller, with reinforced 4D-ROLLER bearings, which allow the machine to move smoothly on rough terrain.
