A low-volume pneumatic sprayer for vineyards is the new machine that CIMA is presenting to the general public at EIMA International. Synergy is the name of the new model that combines precision treatments with particular attention to sustainability through its optimization of resources and the reduction of waste and environmental impact. The new sprayer being offered by the company from Montù Beccaria (Pavia) stands out for some particular construction solutions that optimize its performance, beginning with its telescopic and overlapping distribution head. The frame that supports the head – specifies the Lombard manufacturer in a technical note – has been designed to reduce the overall weight of the machine but without sacrificing those fundamental characteristics of robustness that provide stability while working. Another plus of this model is its hydraulic circuit, which makes it possible to adjust the three sprayheads and adapt them to the measurements of the system layout. To minimize the drift effect, CIMA's technicians have equipped the sprayheads with adjustable inclination arms to distribute the product even more effectively. The Synergy sprayer can treat three rows simultaneously, with an inter-row width of 2 to 3 meters. This design feature – the Pavia-based company further specifies – significantly reduces treatment times without compromising precision. Other pluses that CIMA offers on the machine include the optional EPA (Proportional Advance Delivery) system that records operating data, facilitating traceability and management of interventions.
