CIMA, 50 years of exciting and innovative success
It was 1974 when, thanks to an idea by Paolo Smeraldi, CIMA of Montù Beccaria, in the province of Pavia, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese, began manufacturing pneumatic sprayers based on a new type of technology defined as “Low Volume”.
Today, the Lombardy-based company is celebrating its 50th anniversary, an important milestone marked by continuous technological research, which has led to the creation of cutting-edge machines capable of anticipating market needs.

The increase in foreign trade has not only benefited business, but has also allowed CIMA's technicians and designers to develop specific knowledge regarding crops and agricultural models of the different organizations with which they came into contact.
The expertise gained from this, combined with the experience acquired during experiments and field trials, has allowed the Lombardy-based company to develop solutions capable of satisfying the most diverse production needs of the agricultural world, in Italy and abroad.
