Emak cordless lawnmower, up to 1000 m2 of range

The end of the lockdown marks the launch on the market of four new battery-powered lawnmowers by Emak of Bagnolo in Piano (Reggio Emilia): the Oleo-Mac Gi 48 P and Gi 48 T models (with a cutting surface of 600 square metres), and the Efco LRi 48 P and LRi 48 T (cutting surface of 500 square metres). All the machines are equipped with a double housing for 5 Ah batteries, which makes it possible to extend the operating range to cover an area even greater than 1000 square metres. They also come with GS and ETl certified chargers. According to a technical note from the Emilian company, these devices recharge the batteries safely, prolong their life cycle, and minimize electricity consumption. The manufacturer also explains that the new FAST CRG charger cuts charging times in half: the 5 Ah battery, for example, can be recharged in just 70 minutes. Another significant feature of the Efco and Oleo-Mac models is the frame, which has a 46 cm steel body, offering maximum resistance to impact and stress. It is also worth mentioning the four-in-one cutting function designed for operating without a basket with a mulching system or using the side discharge. The cutting height (between a minimum of 28 and a maximum of 75 millimetres) can be easily set by the operator, who can simply use the special centralized controls. Also available in a self-propelled version, the new Emak battery-powered lawnmowers are available with a 70-litre basket.
