John Deere is making its voice heard in the 100 and over 200 Hp vehicle range with the introduction of the new 6M Series tractors, which now includes 17 models, 10 of which have power exceeding 150 Hp. From the compact 6M 95 to the powerful 6M 250, with 4 different chassis sizes, the Series offers a greater selection for farmers looking for high performance and low-complexity machines. Major additions include the 4-cylinder 6M 150 and the 6-cylinder 6M 145.

The 6M 230 and 6M 250 models with their extra-large wheelbase of 2,900 mm further expand the range in the high-end segment. Equipped with a 4.5- or 6.8-liter engine, all models offer up to 20 additional horsepower (rated) with Intelligent Power Management (IPM) for transport or PTO applications. There is a wide range of transmissions to choose from, including the mechanical PowrQuad Plus and the AutoPowr with continuously variable technology. Furthermore, all 6-cylinder 6M tractors can be optionally equipped with larger hydraulic pumps, with an output of 155 l/min or up to 195 l/min.

In the small chassis segment, the new 6M 150 joins the range as a powerful model – 177 Hp max with IPM – while remaining compact and agile. Within the medium chassis segment, the 6M 145 model has been updated and now features six cylinders instead of four, while the addition of the new 6M 165 and 6M 185 models helps further diversify the entire segment. The large chassis category is also rounded out with two additional models, the 6M 220 and the 6M 240 for more demanding activities. The extra-large chassis segment now includes the brand new 6M 230 and 6M 250 models, which raise the bar in terms of power and efficiency for larger-scale operations.

Equipped with 4.5- or 6.8-liter John Deere engines with up to 281 hp with IPM, 6M Series tractors are designed to tackle any operation. Built on the unique and proven integral chassis design and offering a rear linkage lift capacity of 4.4 t at 9.9 t, depending on the model, they can handle the heaviest loads and largest equipment, be they seed drills or ploughs. The hydraulic system, with pressure and flow compensation, supplies from 80 to 195 liters per minute, ensuring maximum productivity for every operation.

The 5M series offers up to 135 Hp of versatility. Available with new transmissions and in-dash AutoTrac features, the new John Deere 5M Series puts versatility first. The Deere has also added the 5130M to its range, expanding the portfolio of higher power class models with a maximum power output of up to 135 horsepower.

The new PowrQuad PLUS and Powr8 transmission options deliver uninterrupted towing power with smooth gear changes within the selected group. Additionally, a button on the lever eliminates the need to manually operate the clutch when shifting between groups. The EcoShift functionality allows the 5M models to reduce rpm and save fuel, while still providing enough power to perform transport tasks efficiently at speeds of up to 40 km/h.

AutoTrac integration into the dashboard improves accuracy and efficiency by minimizing overlap during field operations, while the guidance system helps to stay on track in straight-line jobs. Upgrading to more sophisticated features of the driving system is possible at any time with a G5 universal display.

The 5M Series has a compact turning circle of 4.1 meters, low hood and a large window in the roof. It also features Expert Alerts predictive analytics system, which enables early detection of required maintenance work, improving operational reliability and minimizing downtime.
