Tvz, the tailor-made axle

We start from Latin and we get... to the axle. Ad hoc: literally 'for this', conceived specifically for this purpose.

Among the services that TVZ srl makes available to its customers, there is also the study and production of axles and suspensions specifically designed for the required application.

An analysis that starts with the verification of the application through special data collection sheets.

These allow the definition of the load-bearing structure, the type of seal best suited to the application, the verification of braking in accordance with European legislation or the various national regulations, up to the final 'shape' that the products must have in order to be used and integrated in the structure/frame that the customer must and wants to realise.

For example, in the case of the use of self-steering or controlled steering axles, in addition to the structural and braking checks, steering angle simulations are also carried out and the position of the braking cylinders is defined by means of special supports.

This allows the customer to significantly reduce the time required to define and build the trailer, as they do not have to worry about axles and suspension.

TVZ is also able to develop solutions that are not based on standard axle designs, but designed from scratch, such as solutions for mounting the central wheel to the axle, up to axles that can accommodate three wheels, two at the end and one in the middle.

In order to maintain the high level of services provided, in addition to the complete design using 3D software, the technical department has implemented its capabilities by introducing finite element analysis, using Autodesk Inventor Nastran.

There is no limit to the possibility of creating new things, if – as they emphasise at TVZ – there is imagination, passion and will to do.
