The high productive output of the 7100 wrapper

The 7100 bale wrapper fits into the wide range of Mascar bale wrappers as a portable solution for haymaking professionals. The machine's compact design has a center of gravity close to the tractor to allow for its use even with low-power engines, while the category II and III attachment allows the wrapper to be used - in the front or frontal position - even with telescopic lifts. Featuring a compact but robust structure, which offers the operator a wide view of the working area, the newcomer from Mascar also stands out for the non-orthogonal rotation axis of the bale. This characteristic technique, as explained by the Veneto-based manufacturer (headquartered in Grumolo della Abbadesse, near Vicenza), optimizes the film's layout because, compensating for the movements of the bale due to its rotation, allows for the correct positioning of the film on both sides. Different solutions have been adopted by the Vicenza-based company to improve the performance of the machine, starting from the bale support rollers (two in the basic set-up). The rollers – explains the Vicenza-based company in a technical note – are inserted in a pair of supports developed in such a way as to support the axle at both ends rather than just at the lower part, to increase its resistance and lower its position, in order to ensure the best possible support of the bale and therefore the most successful wrapping operation. Another innovative feature is the vertical tipping system, whose pivoted rather than linear motion positions the roller directly under the bale to make it easier for the operator to maneuver. Moreover, in order to improve the control of the various functions of the vehicle, Mascar has introduced a touch screen monitor with a wide side button panel and developed a new, intuitive and user-friendly software, for automatic wrapping management. The technicians of the Veneto-based company have also considered the greasing points, by reducing their number (thanks to the self-lubricating bushings) and making them easily accessible for regular maintenance. The engines and the cylinders responsible for the movement of the rollers – as stated in a technical note from the Vicenza-based company – have been positioned inside the area covered by the crankcase, to protect the sensitive parts of the machine from impacts and residues while making access for any special repair work easy. Another strong point of the 7100 Wrapper is the Self-Load function, developed with the aim of automating operations and reducing the number of commands used by the operator: the sensor applied on the tipping device detects the bale and automatically manages the automatic closing of the rollers for loading. And for haymaking needs, the Mascar stand has on display the Multiwrap 130 model designed for highly professional use, which is being presented at EIMA in its new HP High Performance version. The Multiwrap 130 is a high performance fixed chamber round baler combined with a satellite wrapper positioned at the chamber outlet to reduce operating costs and at the same time increase production capacity.
