Fast Attach make attaching tools to the lift easy
At this year's EIMA International, the Dieci company from Emilia introduced its innovative Fast Attach technology, which was also awarded the prestigious Technical Innovation award at the competition of the same name. The Fast Attach system – explains the Montecchio Emilia manufacturer in a technical note – is designed to optimize and simplify the replacement of equipment on telescopic handlers, reducing the time required for this operation. At present, properly coupling the tool to the telescopic handler requires the driver to make three different connections: one between the hoses that supply the actuators with hydraulic power, another to operate the tool's solenoid valves, and a third for the mechanical coupling. It is a particularly laborious operation – states Dieci – one that is detrimental to company productivity. The Fast Attach interface, on the other hand, allows all three connections to be made simultaneously directly from the lift cabin or via radio control, and in a completely safe manner (no manual intervention is necessary).
This also helps to significantly reduce leaks and infiltrations from occurring in these circumstances. Another great plus of the technology designed by Dieci is its backward compatibility, meaning that it is possible to use it with telescopic lifts that are already on the market.
