Fast and delicate work with the Fast Block transplanter

Designed by Ferrari Costruzioni Meccaniche for compressed cubic clod seedlings (of length between 3.2 and 5 cm per side), it is notable for the ability to work at very high speeds - according to the manufacturer’s information, the hourly yield per element ranges up to 7000 plants per hour, with a maximum speed of 2.5 kilometres per hour - ensuring extremely delicate handling. With an adjustable row spacing starting from 23 cm, the transplanter offered by the Mantova company is equipped with elements that are independent from each other; this means they are free to “float” on the ground to follow its profile and thus ensure uniform processing in terms of depth and distance between plants. The positioning is entrusted to direct placement pincers, while a mixed palette-wheel system plants the product. Among the benefits of this model we find the cleanermatic device for automatic cleaning of the ploughshares, with compressed air and electronic management. The self-propelled version of the Fast Block (also available as a towed device) is sold in 2 or 4 wheel drive, hydrostatic transmissions with speeds from 0 to 12 km/h, wide-arc power steering, hydraulic lifting, and compressed air for maintenance and cleaning , as well as for inflating the tyres. This version also includes the automatic wake-follower system, with which the machine can operate with only one person every 2/3 rows. The self-propelled unit by Ferrari Costruzioni Meccaniche is available with engines of 51 Hp, 67 Hp, 100 Hp with liquid-cooled diesel engine with electric start, including soundproof engine block.
