Bio-shredders and chippers, innovations designed by Negri
Bio-shredders, chippers, aerators and leaf vacuums: these have been Negri's flagship products for over thirty years, and it will also be presenting several new products in these market segments at EIMA 2024, starting with the R230 bio-shredder. The new bio-shredder offered by the Mantua manufacturer (headquartered in Campitello di Marcaria) was designed in order to offer the user top-level performance even in difficult-to-access places. The machine is in fact very compact - with a width of just 75 cm - and is distinctive for its shredding capacity of 11 cm maximum diameter, with a yield of 7-9 m3/h. The mixed cutting system (blades + hammers) makes it possible to shred any type of green material, while an innovative differential system allows it to move independently on lawns without leaving any type of furrow. The tilting front axle also ensures proper grip on the ground. The machine is completely foldable (with length, width and height of 1.86 m x 0.75 m x 1.54 m) allowing for transport even in the smallest vans.
New chipper models include the C21 and C17. The first is a machine built to satisfy forestry professionals. It is capable of shredding wood material with a maximum diameter of 210 mm and is equipped with a chipping disc with 2 blades and 1 counter-blade and offers a production capacity of up to 5.2 t/h. The chipper is equipped with 2 hydraulic feed rollers, with adjustable speed and rotation direction, and Equal Force System technology, which consists of a constant compression system of the rollers capable of improving the traction of the material. The hopper is wide, inclined to facilitate loading and foldable for transport. The C17 chipper rounds out the Mantua-based company's professional use range. EIMA will see a striking all-black version of the C17 line, specifically selected to draw attention to its design and innovative construction details. In addition to its new products, the manufacturer is also pleased to announce the debut of the Negri Academy, which will offer specific training aimed at understanding the company's products and the best way to use them.
