Agricultural processing: the whole Faza range
At EIMA International, in the exhibition spaces of Faza Macchine Agricole from Citta di Castello (PG), we find all the traditional bestsellers of the Umbrian company. In the tiller sector, the spotlight is on Tiger, a model for operations in vineyards and orchards, which is suitable for any type of inter-row space. Also in the soil processing segment, we find the ELEPHANT series offset-type hydraulic wheeled harrow, a machine with a 40 square axle, equipped with a wide range of discs (28 - 32 - 36 - 40), also marketed in an Elephant Junior “light” version with a 30 square axle, with 24, 28, or 32 discs. All the models are built on an expanded tubular section that makes them highly resistant and suitable for working on all types of terrain. The standard equipment includes supports with double conical bearing, adjustable scrapers, and wide wheels. A distinctive feature of these machines is their stability (even during transport), made possible by the vertical folding of the sections through the action of the four cylinders. In the haymaking sector, centre stage goes to an in-line hay rake (a towed model), the RTR/13-4R, particularly suited to large surfaces and for harvesting hay and straw. The machine is equipped with four wheels, an articulated main frame, which is very effective in adapting the application to different types of terrain, and a hinged front frame designed to facilitate the tractor’s manoeuvres. The working width and changing from the working to the transport position are adjustable hydraulically. On the Umbrian brand’s stand there is a space for carried-towed and self-loading salt spreaders. The former are represented by the SSA/500 Inox, a towed machine built with anti-corrosion materials and offered with a galvanized, stainless steel, or PVC hopper. The seconds ones are represented by the Fox model, a self-loading application with disc distribution controlled from the tractor cab. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic jack that enables the rotation of the salt spreader and loading the salt from a pile. Subsequently, when the vehicle is brought into working position, one of the hydraulic motors allows the auger stirrer to drop the product uniformly onto the spreading disc.
