The Hermes range in evidence in Bologna
The South Tyrolean company Hermes - headquartered in Gargazzone, in the province of Bolzano, produtions and showroom in Sirmione, in the province of Brescia - displayed all the prized pieces of its collection at EIMA International. In the spotlight, the new "Fisarmonica New" mower with working widths from 175 to 235 centimetres, equipped with a new blade fastening system that makes blade replacement even easier and faster, a new structure - even more solid - and an air circulation system designed not to produce dust and not to raise the cut grass. At the stand of the Gargazzone-based manufacturer, the spotlight will also be on an innovative mechanical weed killer, which facilitates the replacement of blades and is able to work on both young and very old plants without altering their bark. In the fruit harvesting belt machine segment, Hermes offers the Fruit Picker model.
Agile and lightweight, this machine is suitable for medium-sized fruit growers as well as for family businesses that want to improve product quality while making harvesting faster and less tiring. With a length of 3.2 metres and a maximum width of 2.2 metres, the Fruit Picker features hydraulically operated (height-adjustable) picker belts and a high-resistance galvanised frame.
The guiding system is ultrasonic with a double piston, while the filler is of the electro-hydraulic type; the machine is equipped with a special device for adjusting the oil pressure, which makes it possible to optimise bin unloading. Finally, on the safety front, the disc brake system optimises vehicle braking in the most diverse working conditions.
