New MF 3700 Series of specialist tractors
Agritechnica is providing the occasion for Massey Ferguson to present the manufacturer's new generation MF 3700 specialists for vineyards, fruit orchards and other specialized operations. The new Wide Fruit range is ideal for work on Alpine terrain, hillside vineyards and for livestock raisers
Massey Ferguson has selected the International Agritechnica 2017 showcase for unveiling the new MF 3700 Series based on the MF 3600 Xtra tractors. The new specialist tractor range features top quality, ease of operation, high performance and great comfort and versatility. The extended series covers five ranges, each one built for specialist farming categories. These are V for Vineyards requiring work in narrow spaces now designed for reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h; the S for Special for more open vineyards and orchards, more robust with a wider front axle and more spacious cab; F for Fruit for larger vineyards and fruit orchards, more robust with a wider front axle and more spacious cab; G for Ground Effect, a low profile tractor for work under trees, in polyethene tunnels, canopy vineyards, with a wider front axle for greater stability; the brand new Brand Fruit WF for Wide Fruit, a larger tractor for use in orchards as well on Alpine farms, hillside vineyards and livestock operations with wider front and rear axles and more specious cab. In addition they will benefit from the extensive knowhow of our specialist engineers who have worked extremely hard on this impressive new range.” The MF 3700 Series tractors are equipped with powerful fourcylinder, stage 3B new generation engines with power from 75 Hp to 105 Hp, offer increased hydraulic flow, the option of a fully integrated factory-fitted front linkage, PTO and front loader frame, allowing a wider range of specialist implements to be utilised. The comfort of the operator has been enhanced by locating the accelerator to the left of the brake pedal next to the transmission tunnel. The console on the right has been improved and revised to include an engine rpm memory switch and a lock switch for the electro-hydraulic valves plus a Rockshift Quadrant. For the Efficient specialist, a potentionmeter is installed for regulating the valves. Introduced for the driver is a new digital dash panel and a new generation digital radio. For the Category 2 cap, include air conditioning is an option as are a rearview mirror and electric wing mirrors. There are also various seat options, including the Grammer Delux. Yet another one is new work lighting for boosting illumination for ongoing night harvesting operations.
