Alpego, lots of innovations coming soon
At Agritechnica, the company Alpego, headquartered in Lonigo, in the province of Vicenza, is presenting the precision folding hydropneumatic subsoiler SKAT MAX. Suitable for tractors with power ranging from 300 to 600 horsepower and intended for professional use, the new model from the Veneto manufacturer is a high-precision machine that, thanks to ISOBUS technology, is managed by the operator using the new A.I. MOVE electronics made by Alpego.
From opening to closing the machine, adjusting pressure and working depth, to emergency alerts and even operation memory, all the main functions of the subsoiler are controlled by the operator through the terminal. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with alerts in case of safety bolt breakage. In addition to being a technologically advanced working tool, the latest addition to the Alpego family is a robust and reliable subsoiler, made with high-strength steel, while the hydropneumatic safety system, always controlled via ISOBUS electronics, reduces power consumption and fuel demands, thus improving traction and hourly productivity. Among the strengths of SKAT MAX, it's worth noting the patent-pending anchor retraction system. During transport, thanks to the hydraulic compaction of the anchors and rollers, the device reduces the width of the subsoiler to just 2.8 meters, optimizing the travel of the tractor-implement combination. Other advantages of the machine include the patented ALFAST technology designed by the Vicenza-based manufacturer for the quick replacement of plowshares and accessories, the NO STOP hydraulic safety system for absorbing shocks, easily replaceable safety bolts, and telescopic containment strips. For its innovative qualities, Alpego's SKAT MAX has been recognized among the technical innovations at Agritechnica Awards 2023.
In the segment of rotary harrows, the company from Lonigo offers the new fixed model with BG ball mechanics and four new models characterized by the innovative Twin Force Tek mechanics.
The BG model is available in working widths of 2.5 and 3 meters and is suitable for tractors with a power range from 85 to 160 Hp. In the new Twin Force Tek technology, each pair of rotors of the implement is connected by a support made in a single casting, and this, as Alpego explains in a technical note describing the innovative system, significantly increases the frame's resistance to mechanical stress, especially in deeper and combined operations. The models benefiting from the new Twin Force Tek are the fixed models RMT and RTEK, and the folding models DTEK and DTEK Plus. Both fixed models are equipped with a central gearbox at 1,000 RPM, removable molded stone guards, reinforced transmission gears, and movable side panels. RMT is available in working widths from 3 to 4 meters, and it is ideal for tractors with a power range from 95 to 190 Hp; RTEK is available in working widths from 3 to 4 meters and is suitable for tractors with power up to 250 Hp. The new folding rotary harrow, DTEK, is suitable for professional use in deeper operations and performs exceptionally well in combinations with seed drills. It is available in working widths from 4 to 6 meters, suitable for high-power tractors up to 350 Hp. Finally, compared to this last model, the DTEK PLUS version enhances performance with a more extensive range of standard features, making it even more versatile and professional. Among its many qualities, it features automatic lateral drive shafts, a 3-hole forged tooth, and compatibility with both ISOBUS and Alpego A.I. Move electronics.
