X23, the new touchscreen by Topcon Agriculture

Topcon Agriculture expands the range of touchscreens of the “X Family” with a new 8.4” monitor. This is the X23 model, a high-performance device characterized by its significant flexibility, thanks to which it is able to meet the different production needs of farms. At the software level, the new terminal by the US brand uses the Topcon Horizon platform, designed to offer the operator an accessible work tool - the graphical interface is icon-driven - that is customizable with a wide choice of driving modes. It also offers quick and easy installation on almost all agricultural machines, from tractors to combine harvesters and self-propelled sprayers. The strengths of the newly introduced Topcon include a backlit screen system that ensures optimal reading conditions in bright sunlight.  “The X23 offers visual control of up to ten sections. The operator can also activate the application control option and the variable dose product delivery function, which allows the user to close and open the sections automatically. This is a convenient solution because - explains Michael Stone, vice president of Product Management at Topcon Agriculture - it avoids overlapping and uncovered sections, reducing the use of technical methods, resulting in greater respect for the environment. To this end, the dosage of the product is constant as the working speed changes”. Furthermore, the X23 is a pay-per-use device. This means that users can select and purchase just the functionalities necessary for their farm, thus optimizing the return on investment and the profitability of the product. The new monitor - says Topcon Agriculture - will be distributed in the European, Middle Eastern, Asian, Pacific and Latin American markets.
