The technology of the new New Holland TE6 tractors
New Holland brings to the market the new TE6 Straddle Tractor range. Inspired by the Straddle Tractor Concept, developed in collaboration with design house Pininfarina, the TE6 is a multi-purpose self-propelled vehicle designed for use in narrow vineyards. It comes in two models, TE6.120N and TE6.150N, designed by New Holland engineers with three independent quick-attach zones so that several implements can be connected at the same time. The operator - reads a company note - can change the equipment to be used without having to leave the cab, saving time and maximising efficiency, and the ability to manoeuvre between rows is guaranteed by the Superlight steering system. Like the other latest generation New Holland tractors, the TE6 excavators are equipped with the latest technology, such as the Intelliview IV Plus display that allows full control of the machine, or the My PLM Connect system that allows operators to manage data in real time, on-board and remotely.
The propulsion of these versatile vehicles is provided by an FTP Industrial Stage V engine that ensures high stability on steep slopes, while the IntelliFlow hydraulic system allows balanced distribution of the tractor's power. When designing the TE6 range, which will be produced at the Coëx plant in France and available from the end of 2023, New Holland engineers also paid special attention to design, adopting the Blue Power livery that reflects the manufacturer's new styling lines.
