November 2015 | Back

In the diggers section in Hanover, a spotlight on the top sellers by Gramegna of Pavia. We start from the 25 series, a line of applications with 25 horsepower, designed to work in horticulture, nurseries and gardening. Suitable for both professional and hobby use, even in orchards, the 25 Series diggers are available in six different versions, with working widths ranging from a minimum of 0.90 to a maximum of 1.70 metres, and adjustable depths up to 25 cm. The operational heart of the new Gramegna series is an innovative system of joints that do not require lubrication and are therefore characterized by ease of maintenance. Also in the Agritechnica diggers section there will be the series 40, which Mondo Macchina has already talked about at EIMA International 2014, where this range made its debut. Equipped with joints with special bearings and seals, the three models in the Series 40, thanks to a particularly high clearance from the ground, are able to offer high performance even on soils with crop residues. The power requirement starts from a minimum of 130 horsepower, (much more than the 6 necessary for the VM12 (see Mondo Macchina 10/11 of 2012). The latter is a digging machine to be used in conjunction with walking tillers, not tractors. It is therefore an ideal tool for digging over vegetable rows, gardens, and greenhouses, with its weight, strength, balance and agility in manoeuvring being its main strengths.
