Soil preparation: complete work with Forigo implements

The DEEPER-ino 300 sterilizer by Forigo manufacturer in Mantua works to the depth of 8 to 35 centimeters with a strong on hydraulics plant and speeds at great as 7 kilometers/h with an on board tank with a capacity of 650 liters for distribution on demand in proportion to the speed of advance of the tractor-implement combination.

The implement is also equipped with a GPS antenna for enhancing the quality of treatments in all types of terrain, anchors reducing power requirements and an overall design to ensure uniform distribution of the product across the entire width of the implement. The DEEPER-ino 300, one of the Forigo products presented at the EIMA Show, distributes liquid fumigant products such as metam sodium and dichloropropene directly into the soil at depth without the release of any of the product into the atmosphere. Other than the sterilizer, the Lombardy manufacturer also brought along the FR 120-400 folding rotary harrow range of models requiring power from 20 to 400 Hp and working widths of up to 7 meters and a complete line of stone and crop residue buriers. Also these machines feature models requiring power at 20 to a maximum of 400 Hp and are marketed in single, double and triple versions, fixed and folding for work on level terrain and on the sides. These models process soil, rocks and crop residues to prepare well-structured beds for seeding and transplanting with optimum aeration. On show at the Deruta farm was the fixed G35-150 equipped with wheels and free wheel rotors for work on the sides for creating raised beds for avoiding standing water and the folding DG45-460 for tractors with power at 200 to 300 Hp equipped with packer rollers plus for work on the level.
