Social responsibility, technological innovation and sustainable development are the three guiding principles of the philosophy of the Rovatti family owned enterprise in Fabbrico, near Reggio Emilia, specialized in the design and manufacture of pumps for agriculture and industry and electric centrifugal pumps. A communique released by the company technical director affirmed, “For us, the most important challenge is the development of innovations in the collective interest. We pursue this objective daily and if we consider that at the global level, the present pumping system takes up an extremely high percentage of the energy consumption of industries it’s clear that reducing consumption and optimizing significant resources not only limits management costs loaded on enterprises but also safeguards the environment.” This is a front on which the use of high yield pumps is able to make a difference, especially in the setting of the European Union where some 30% of energy consumption is generated by electric motors, a great share of which are used for pump systems. And this is precisely the objective of the development of innovations targeted on respect for the environment the Rovatti Pompe technicians are fine tuning through a wide range of projects for ensuring top level performance with an eye on the efficient energy regulations coming up. “For the industry of today, it’s of fundamental importance to have solutions available for pumping enormous types of liquids which guarantee long operating lifespans over time and reduced energy consumption. This is why our focus in the company is on allocating a substantial share of our resources to investments in R&D, training great attention on the LCC (Life Cycle Cost) of all our products to offer increasing avantgarde solutions as well as materials and construction technologies,” the communique concluded.
