M6001, the Kubota utility series
The new M6001 Utility tractor series, designed by Kubota to offer users efficient, functional and, above all, multi-purpose vehicles, will be available on the European market from next quarter. The term "utility" is used to define vehicles designed to offer maximum versatility of use and capable of carrying out various activities with a wide range of configurations and fittings.
The M6001 Utility - the successor to the historic MGX series and built to complement the M6002 series, launched in 2020, to offer even leaner models - is designed to serve livestock farms, tillage and a variety of maintenance tasks.
With a range of 102 to 141 Hp and two types of chassis, the M6001s feature Stage V engines - all from Kubota - available in dual 3.8-litre and 6.1-litre versions, combined with shorter or longer wheelbase versions and possible front axle suspension for greater comfort. Other features of the series include ergonomic controls, a high visibility canopy as standard, armrest lift with a capacity of up to 6,100 kg and an electro-hydraulic shuttle combined with an 8-speed powershift transmission.
The Japanese group's commitment to developing cutting-edge technologies to contribute to the food needs of a planet with an ever-increasing population continues in line with its "For Earth For Life" mission.
