Kubota expands its offer for the garden sector with the FC2-221 lawn mower, a “user friendly” and low maintenance machine thanks to the reduction in the number of components subject to wear. Powered by a Kubota D902 engine, which delivers a power of 22 horsepower, the FC2-221 model comes with the innovative HST transmission, designed to offer constant traction on all four driving wheels during the turning phase. This technological solution - explains the Japanese manufacturer in a note - makes it possible to prevent possible damage to the turf caused by slippage and slipping of the lawn mower. The latest addition to Kubota can be equipped with a 112-centimetre rotating plate or, alternatively, with a 110-centimetre lawn mower. The first, equipped with double rotors with overlapping blades, stands out for greater cutting precision, while the second is appreciated for its versatility since it can be equipped with different types of blades to better adapt to different ground conditions. Another strong point of the lawn mower deck is the “Smart System” technology which, thanks to a magnetic pin, allows the blades to be removed quickly and easily. Lifting capacity and large collection capacity are additional advantages of the FC2-221 lawn mower, whose 480 litre grass catcher allows large quantities of grass to be dumped onto existing trailers or piles. To manage the lifting/lowering and tilting functions of the collection device, the user must do nothing but intervene on a single control lever, simplifying field operations even more.
