Kuhn: a new logistic center in Saverne
The Kuhn Group made new investments in the plant of Saverne (France). Last September was in fact inaugurated a new logistic center, an ultramodern structure of 10,000 square meters, at the cost of € 20 million.
The investment made in Laverne allows to effectively supply the Group’s production and assembly sites by meeting the requirements set by the market, such as performance, responsiveness and flexibility and, at the same time, by improving work conditions of the employees.
Ten years after the startup and operation of the “Montage Grands Machines” center (center for the assembly operations of big machines), the Kuhn Group has therefore announced the development of its industrial infrastructures, by adding extra assembly lines, a further enlarging of stocking areas, and a brand new building dedicated to expeditions, all of that on a total surface of 26,000 square meters and an overall investment of € 23 million, in addition to previous investments in existing buildings.
The Kuhn Group has today 5,000 employees on a global level, and invests an average of € 35 million in its 11 plants and 11 distribution branches present in all continents.
