Kuhn cultivators, great versatility with the Performer 3000
The Performer 3000 innovative combined cultivator equipped with discs and tines was one of the three machines Kuhn put to the test at the EIMA Show after the cultivator won the online international competition promoted in February by the Terre Net website. The Performer recently unveiled the version with a 3 meter working width to complete the range with a cultivator with discs for cutting and tines for breaking the ground for an in-depth mix with levelling and consolidation of the soil, all with one-pass.
These features make the Performer 3000 ideal for farmers with short windows for preparing the soil in depth in the least time possible. To achieve these results, the German manufacturer built the cultivator for independent or combined modular work.
For four operations with one-pass the Performer is equipped with 2 rows of discs with a small notch profile for an efficient cut across the entire width of the machine, 4 rows of tines for mixing or deep loosening, 1 row of discs mounted on a safety system for levelling and the HD-Liner 700 roller for tamping. The Performer 3000, the most recent addition to the range with working widths at 4, 5, 6 and 7 meters, went to work on the Casalina farm field with a medium-high power 200 to 350 Hp power requirement. The highly versatile cultivator can be used without the roller for autumn operation. This Performer can also be equipped with a Non-stop hydraulic safety system which ensures pressure up to 900 kilograms to hold the tines in the ground by avoiding bouncing on uneven terrain. The HD Liner 700 was designed to tamp the soil in depth with a double U roller designed to consolidate the surface and provide excellent refining of the terrain.
