Diavel 630 Cut, a Mascar round baler for large land areas
Mascar is a manufacturer specializing in designing and building haymaking machinery located in Grumolo delle Abbadesse, near Vicenza, which has rounded out its range with the arrival of the Diavel 630 Cut unveiled last year at Agritechnica in Hanover (see Mondo Macchina/Machinery special report in the November 2015 number). This latest generation round baler with fixed chamber and a power requirement in the 100 Hp category is designed for harvesting silage but turns in excellent an excellent performance for all types or product. The Diavel 630 Cut is equipped with a two meter wide pick-up, a 1.30 meter fixed chamber fitted with 18 rollers and a 15-knife cutting system. The new top-of-the-line baler is built for haymaking on large extensions of land making the machine ideal for contractors. The Veneto manufacturer is marketing the baler in versions binding with net, a net and twine combination with or without the cutting device plus an ergonomic and user-friendly system for replacing the twine bobbins. The wealth of standard equipment for the Diavel 630 Cut starts with an anti-clogging drawer controlled directly from the tractor cab, 15.0/55-17 tires, an automatic lubrication system, a wide-angle universal joint with cam limiter and on to the 15-knife cutter bar for the Cut version. An equally wide range of optional features include an intersheet presser place, extruder, hydraulic and air brakes and 500/50-17 agricultural tires.
