New mixer wagons and telescopic handlers, from Faresin
The Faresin Industries mixer wagons are arriving in Hanover with the innovative CVMIX transmission, a totally new feature in the sector with the application of the continuously variable principle to mixing which reduces the tractor power requirement to lower fuel consumption and cut time for mixing while maintaining the standard needed for fiber and uniformity of the mix. These benefits lead to a considerable reduction in costs associated with mixing and greatly facilitate and raise the practicality of the operation. Faresin, located in Breganze in the Vicenza Province, is bringing to the market for the first time towed mixer wagons with the hybrid concept. The various steps for loading the mixer components with the tractor hitched to the wagon, the job which takes the longest time, impacts tractor fuel consumption and thus the costs for the enterprise. For this reason, Faresin came up with the idea of equipping the wagon with an electric motor for mixing so that tractor power is required only for the distribution of the livestock feed and moving the wagon. Something new has also been added to the manufacturer’s heavy duty telescopic handlers for operations in agriculture, especially in the biogas production sector. Two models with maximum lifting heights of 9 meters and maximum lift capacity at 5.5 and 7 tons and a 10 meter machine with maximum lift capacity of 6.5 tons have been introduced in two versions, the GLS and the VPS. These handlers are powered by Common Rail Deutz injection 90 Kw/122 Hp Stage IIIB engines with DOC particulate filters which need no regeneration and equipped with new cabs unveiled last year for the compact and medium ranges. The cab is equipped with a multifunctional electrohydraulic proportional joystick, reverser and a color monitor displaying all the main functions of the handler and all these models come with LED lights as standard equipment. They also feature hydraulics with a flow of 152 lit/min with pump and variable cylinder load sensing control. The hydraulics are also equipped with a regeneration valve enabling the boom to be loaded with great speed and low engine rps for saving fuel. There are two transmission options. One is hydrostatic with a mechanical two-speed gear box and innovative management in four modes, drive, eco, handling and creeper for the GLS version. The continuously variable Variable Power System (VPS) and VPSe (“e” for electronic) TOP versions carry two hydrostatic motors for forward speed and four driving modes for the best traction capability of these powerful transmissions. Coming as standard equipment for the range is lateral levelling for demanding operations on uneven terrain.
