Feed mixers, Faresin renews its range
The 2023 edition of Agritechnica, which ended on 18 November in Hanover, saw the launch of the new Faresin feed mixer range. This is the TPF - Trailed Precision Feeding - line, consisting of upright trailed models, offered in 33 different cubages, which can be equipped with one, two or three augers. The new Faresin wagons, radically redesigned compared to their predecessors, are now offered in three different configurations: Classic, Plus and Profi. The first two have one or two augers and offer loading capacities between 5 and 24 m3 for the Classic, and between 11 and 30 m3 for the Plus.
The Profi configuration, on the other hand, comes with two or three augers and is characterised by cubic volumes ranging from a minimum of 18 to a maximum of 46 m3. The Classic equipment - explains the manufacturer in a note - stands out for its operational simplicity and mixing speed, but also for its compact dimensions, which give the machines considerable manoeuvrability. The single-auger version has capacities from 5 to 11 m3; the double-auger version starts from a minimum of 12 to a maximum of 24 m3. On these models the axle is placed in the rear position to optimise weight balance, while the direct side exhaust on both sides can be placed in various positions. Unlike the Classic configuration, the Plus is equipped with a front discharge with a bilateral mat, which speeds up the flow of unifeed into the feeder. Plus wagons are available in single-auger versions with capacities from 11 to 17 m3 and two-auger versions with capacities from 12 to 30 m3 to better suit the needs of farms of all sizes. The basic version has a single axle, but on models with a cubic capacity of more than 18 m3 a second axle can also be fitted. Also available on request is the straw throwing device for litter distribution.
Top of the range in the TFP line are the Profi feed mixers, offered with a bilateral front discharge conveyor and an 8 mm walled mixing tank, and with two (for 18 to 30 m3 cubic capacity) or three augers (for 36 to 46 m3 capacity, especially suitable for large farms).
Profi models are equipped with a double axle with Bogie suspension as standard, for more comfortable transfers and better manoeuvring agility, while the steering axle and hydraulic or pneumatic braking system are optional.
Three load cells can be installed on the frame of the trailed TPF Profi in the twin-auger version and five cells in the triple-auger version for accurate weighing of all ration components. On all machines in the TPF series, the mixing tank is made of high-quality S355 steel, which guarantees a longer service life. In addition, the inner walls and mixing elements can be coated with stainless steel to make them even more resistant to forage friction and silage acidity. To enable optimal monitoring of the mixing process, Faresin wagons are equipped with advanced and interconnected technologies, such as the electronic weighing and dosing system and the PoliSPEC NIR device (inside the mixing tank) that helps farmers monitor the homogeneity level in real time and analyse the chemical and physical properties of all ration components.
