Nardi, a presence in style
Four flagship products are on show at Nardi's Bologna stand, starting with the Strasem electronic and pneumatic precision seed drill from 50 to 250 Hp. The machine features a gear-driven sowing disc drive, rotary chamber, magnetic disc, ISOBUS control system and new intake manifold design. Tangible advantages include no friction or wear, precision, lightness and flexibility, as well as ease of use, immediate change of working configurations and the possibility of integration with prescription maps and GPS guidance.
The standard configuration includes the distributor with rotating vacuum chamber, the disc with magnetic anchorage, the seed selector with counter selector, the seed hopper of adequate capacity, the second category 3-point hitch and the 23x8.5/12" front wheels, in addition to the double transmission with free wheels and the rear compaction wheels with adjustable angle and pressure on the ground. From 4 to 12 rows, it has a working width of between 250 and 860 centimetres. Next to Strasem, the NX65 modular reversible out-of-furrow plough with hydraulically variable working width from 350 to 650 horsepower, featuring standard tungsten coatings, a frame with variable section according to working stress points, a traction safety bolt on T models and parallelogram displacement with box beam. As well as being compatible with high-powered tractors, the strong point is the working width of up to 50 cm in three machine configurations: four furrows, five furrows and six furrows.
The standard equipment includes hydraulic tipping, screw adjustment of the heel, double extension jack to adjust the plough's tilt and the control bar for the hydraulic variation on the right side for less space when finishing. The reinforced parallelogram structure allows the implement to be quickly adjusted, allowing ploughing in or out of the furrow where possible. The coupling system with hydraulic jack reduces stress on the tractor's three-point hitch, while the accentuated concave profile of the ploughshare and its tilt on the horizontal plane ensure a strong disturbance action on the first centimetres of soil, and consequently the burial of crop residue. The lever system allows the rear wheel to be easily changed from the transport position to the working position.
Orbis, on the other hand, is the combined cultivator for power ratings from 90 to 300 Hp. It features hydraulic (standard) or mechanical roller adjustment, a disc stalk equipped with double sealed spherical bearings, a cushioned disc support with rubber elements and axial adjustment of the sections. The wear parts and the monolithic frame with variable resistance section are made of heat-treated micro-alloy materials. Finally, the Cambridge roller - which can be configured in 5 versions, for a power range from 60 to 100 horsepower and a working width from 450 to 820 cm - whose special features are the independent and oscillating sections, the hydraulic transport/working drive, the hydraulic opening/closing of the side sections and the cast iron disc (500 and 520 diameter). The independent rollers adapt perfectly to changes in terrain, guaranteeing the best working set-up. Standard approved for towing, it is equipped with hydraulic tipping in 3 sections directly from the tractor.
