Fontana is a Vercelli-based company (headquartered in Crescentino) that has specialized in the design and construction of leveling machines for the agricultural and industrial sectors for over 40 years. At this year's EIMA International event, the Piedmontese manufacturer is launching three new models on the market specifically designed to level dirt roads, farm tracks and large yards. The spotlight is first and foremost on the Country Roads mounted leveler featuring a working width of 2.36 m. Another special feature of this machine is the scarifier placed in front of the double-sided blade, which allows it to crush even the most resistant surfaces and fill holes in the ground. The Country Roads leveler offers the ability to hydraulically adjust both the lateral ground guards and the operating angle of the blade. The Road towed leveler is able to “top off” everything in just one pass (for side water drainage). The machine has a working width of 2.00/3.00 m in the LSB series and 2.50/5.00 m in the LSR series, and can be equipped with a front-mounted scarifier with tungsten carbide spikes (the height can be controlled hydraulically). Also featured at the Fontana stand is the LI series reversible semi-mounted leveler with 270° hydraulic blade rotation, self-levelling trolley with 2 pivoting wheels with depth adjustment and hydraulic exclusion, and hydraulic lateral alignment corrector (tilter). This model can also be equipped with a front-mounted scarifier with tungsten carbide tips.
