Ideal: a prestigious anniversary
Seventy years of business and a passion for innovation are the goal that Ideal, a company engaged in the design and construction of machines and equipment for the protection of agricultural crops, celebrates in Bari at Agrilevante.
The company from Castelbaldo (PD) offers a wide range of precise and reliable machines, such as atomizers, misters, cannons and weeders, as well as highly specialized machinery for the treatment of specific crops, all the result of ongoing research and development carried out within the company and in collaboration with bodies and universities. Having consolidated year after year its presence on the European and world market, Ideal achieves 80% of its turnover internationally, and in the last two years it has expanded and strengthened its presence in the markets of South Africa, Russia, Chile and Central America. This was also made possible by the creation of products tailored to different market needs.
In addition to the growth in international sales, during 2016/2017 the Castelbaldo production site was expanded in order to give more space to workshop operations, sales offices and staff expansions.
At Agrilevante, Ideal presents a new solution for open field crops, thus expanding the range of products for the protection of horticultural crops. The towed Poly Super is a weeder equipped with a 21-metre lateral bar with an air duct that boosts the spraying and provides better product distribution. The air duct system includes an actual fan that produces a high amount of air and conveys it along the entire bar, distributing it downwards at the product delivery points. This not only improves the misting, but also results in a movement of the foliage of the crop to be treated, thus obtaining better pesticide coverage on the plant.
