Fieragricola: new products from Landini
The Italian brand is presented at the Verona exhibition with important news in their main ranges, both technically and in terms of design and ergonomics. It is a technology development programme that looks to the Italian market as well as the demand from many foreign countries
The evolution of Landini tractors continues. The renewal of the entire product range was confirmed at Fieragricola 2016, where the Emilia brand offers important changes in the medium-low segment, this time involving the ranges intended for specialized farm uses and landscaping.
Premiered at Fieragricola, the new Series 2 in platform version, also available with a cab. The Series 2 replaces the Mistral range with a modern, agile, and compact solution, characterized by its new design, especially the bonnet and roof.
The Series is available in a standard version and in a new “GE” configuration (platform only) that, thanks to a careful design of the rear gearboxes and platform, provides a floor that is 95 mm lower than the current Mistral. This results in better performance in spaces that are confined in height and width, such as canopy vineyards or greenhouses. A compact size can be achieved with 24” rear tires: width minimum footprint of 1,420 mm and steering wheel height of just 1,230 mm; 20” rear tires will also be an option.
The range uses 44 Hp to 55 Hp Yanmar engines and is available in three models, 2-045, 2-050, 2-060 STD or GE. Another innovation is the 4D series, an effective and rugged range that will improve the performance of the Technofarm line. The range, in two and four-wheel drive, available in the platform version and in the future with cab, mounts a Perkins Tier 3 (4-075D), but already the Deutz Tier 4 Final engines are ready for the respective models 4-060D, 4-070D, 4-080D.
The “Made in Italy by Argo Tractors” transmission is mechanical with 4 gears and 3 ranges (with 300m/h creeper as an option).
Series 4D is equipped with electro-hydraulically operated clutch DT 4WD versions, synchronized PTO with 1 or 2 speeds, an open-centre hydraulic system with a capacity of 45 l/min to service the lift and distributors, a rear lift with a 3400 kg maximum capacity with extra cylinder and a standard distributor plus an optional one. During the four days in Verona you can also admire Series 4, improved with ergonomics and outfitting, Series 5H with a major restyling of the cab, Series 6L (evolution of the Landpower), and the specialized REX improved both in aesthetics and comfort. (see Mondo Macchina issue of 11/2015).
