Design and innovation for Goldoni's Transcar range
Goldoni, headquartered in Migliarina di Carpi in the province of Modena, is continuing the process of technical and stylistic evolution of its machines. At Agritechnica, the company will be showing its Transcar range of tractors with load bed (40, 60 and 70 models), which now feature the acclaimed new styling recently adopted by the Ronin range.
Available with roll bar or cab, in an articulated version (SN) or steered-wheel version (RS), and with engine outputs of 37 to 66 HP, the Transcar range will be displaying a number of significant technical developments at the Hannover trade fair.
On these models, Goldoni has not only introduced uprated differentials (front and rear) and reinforced hubs, but has also implemented a new electrical system – with new automotive-type connection – and improved the engine's heat exchange capacity with a new radiator core.
The headlights and mudguards (which house the new side light clusters) have also been restyled, and the front bumper is now integrated with the tow-hitch in a single iron casting. But the updates don't end there, because the Modena-based company has also restyled its My Special 14 and 15 cultivators, which are now available in a new version with 4+2 transmission, with enhanced reliability and optimised for working at specific speeds, a ground-speed PTO and new reversible handlebars to allow use in both directions of travel.
The range continues to feature the Gearstop safety device, which is the hallmark of Goldoni cultivators, and the Lombardini Kohler 12 and 14HP diesel engines. Lastly, the Quasar 90 (first unveiled at Eima International 2012) is among the candidates for the major international "Tractor of the Year 2014" award, in precisely the year that a new technical development, known as "Q+", has been incorporated into the tractor and has already gone into production.
