Antonio Carraro: all the qualities of the new "Series T"
Basic and economical but also strong and reliable. These are the "Series T" isodiametric tractors, a range created with a simple design and basic fittings, but with all the reliability that has ever been a feature of Antonio Carraro isodiametric tractors. Featuring an excellent quality/price ratio, the "Series T" is born to work in hilly, mountainous areas and on specialist crops that require suitable adherence to the ground, agility and size. There are two engine sizes available. The first is the 49.7 horsepower fitted on the steerable Tigrone TN 5800 and the articulated Supertigre SV 5800, fitted with 4-cylinder Yanmar engine, ACTIOTM frame, 12 gears (8+4) and power assisted steering. Set up to have a low centre of gravity, Tigrone and Supertigre tractors provide stability and constant traction on hills, mountains and uneven terrain, while the new bodywork has large perforated metal grilles to optimise heat exchange, ideal in the hot climatic conditions typical of the Mediterranean area. The T-Major "family", on the other hand, comprises isodiametric or semi-isodiametric tractors (extra-large rear wheels for model TC-F) fitted with a synchronised gearbox with 12+12 gears with inverter and independent power take-off, particularly useful when carrying out work on a slope that requires constant revs in the equipment during gear changes. Available in the version with 49.7 or 56 Hp Yanmar engines, the steerable TN 5800/6400, steerable TC 5800F/6400F and articulated SN 6400 models (56 Hp only), are loved both for their draft controlled lifting - which facilitates the use of equipment with combined draft and position management – and because of the comfort of the driving seat, which is spacious and easily accessible. Finally, Tigrecar 5800 is a compact transporter with good handling, with an 8+8 gear synchronised gearbox with inverter; a multi-purpose machine that is ideal for restricted areas, steep slopes or difficult terrain. The 4 oil bath disk brakes, the supplementary Superbrake braking system (optional) and the end reduction units on the front and rear wheels give the vehicle solidity and operating safety.
