AMA, high tech solutions for components

Teknico is the name of a seat designed for agricultural machinery, earth moving machines and more generally for special vehicles. It was created by the Emilian company AMA (one of the world’s leading component sector industries, with its historic headquarters in San Martino in Rio, in the province of Reggio Emilia), which presents it to the general public of Agritechnica. It is equipped with bodywork based on automotive industry technologies, and this constructive solution allows them to offer a variety of customization options. The Teknico model comes with ergonomic, compact, easily accessible operator levers. The lateral housing elements are made of plastic and have been designed to hide the metal parts supporting the seat, thus providing a pleasant finish that suits medium and high-end machines. Other features of this model include safety belts integrated in an ergonomic cover with thermoplastic perimeter edging that wraps and hides the entire metal structure. Teknico is an ideal model for vehicles with a power output of 80 to 100 horsepower, offering a driver weight adjustment from a minimum of 40 to a maximum of 130 kilos, while the tilt is between -73° and +17°. In the foreground of the Reggio Emilia company’s exhibition stand, we also find the Gancio I Puro, a category 1 lower hook for tractors up to 55 Hp. As the manufacturer explains with a technical note, it is a component made of highly stress-resistant material (36CrMn5), therefore suitable for welding. Provided with base paint (except in the fastening area), the new AMA hook has an opening in the internal mechanism area to facilitate cleaning it with ahigh pressure cleaner. It is marketed with a hole for the safety pin for overhanging operations and forestry work.
