Turnover growth for Comer Industries
Comer Industries ended 2014 with a consolidated turnover of 361 million euro, up 6% on 2013. This result, the highest ever recorded by the business from Reggio Emilia, was achieved despite the uncertainty of markets and the first signs of crisis of the agricultural sector. Therefore, by the end of last year, Comer Industries has also completed the rebuilding of the plant in Reggiolo after the earthquake of 2012. The new industrial plant covers a surface of 20,000 square meters, with an investment of more than 12 million euro. The new facility is equipped with the most advanced technologies for energy efficiency and sustainability. “We will grow in the industrial segment – declares Fabio Storchi, president of Comer Industries – while we expect a decrease in the agricultural sector, due to its economic difficulties”.
