The full line from Arbos protagonist at Agritechnica
In the exhibition spaces of Arbos, the spotlight is focused on the 7000 Series tractors, presented at Hanover with the “7220”, “7240” and “7260” models. This is a machine line which, as the manufacturer explains with a technical note, sees its main strengths in the Stage V FPT 6-cylinder engine with overpower up to 280 horsepower and in the transmission with implement powershift, which guarantees great flexibility in every application. In the open field tractors category, the 5000 series models for large farms and contractors are also very prominent, and the machines on show in Hanover include the “5130” in the 2020 Model Year version. The 5000 series is presented with a restyling inspired by smart farming and the “internet of things”.
In the specialized segment, space was given to the 4000 Series for orchards and vineyards, in the “F” and “Q” versions, with rugged 4-cylinder engines featuring low FCA emissions. Hanover would not be complete without the compact tractors of the 2000 and 3000 series. Compact in size, yet agile and snappy, these models are ideal for individuals and small to medium-sized farms looking for simple yet rugged and reliable solutions.
The candidate to be the best seller in the segment is the 3055, designed in compliance with the new industry regulations and equipped with a 50 horsepower “green” engine. The cutting edge in the equipment sector is the UST model, a seed drill for direct under-surface sowing (a technique that aims to maintain the fertility of the soil by eliminating the operations prior to sowing).
The Arbos stand could not lack the MS 8100 Elektro FF electric seeder, designed to improve performance by working at high speeds, and the MS 8130 series “Plus”, a precision seeder with an advanced seeding machine, which stands out for its sowing speed and accuracy.
In the sprayer sector, the lion’s share goes to the MBS EVO sprayers, equipped with an aluminium bar and automatic levelling.
Starting from next season, MBS EVO applications will also be equipped with an ultrasonic sensor. Among the machines presented in Hanover, let’s not forget the MSD 2.0 Combi Disc, which integrates a seeder and a disc harrow.
