Technology with high added value from MC Electronics

MC Electronics of Fiesso Umbertiano (Rovigo) is extending its range of High Tech components with the Virtual Terminals in the SLIM series, available in external and fitted versions, with a modern, compact, light-weight and ergonomic case that is just 25 mm thick. Using the terminals manufactured by MC Electronics, which can be installed with ease on any type of machine (both agricultural and industrial), the operator can access a large amount of information, monitoring and controlling all the functions of the vehicle and the agricultural equipment in real time. The screens are all full-colour, 3.5" (external and fitted), equipped with an ergonomic, seven-key button pad (with back-lit buttons) and optional touch-screen, or 7" (external and fitted) with a touch-screen display. The luminous LCD display guarantees good visibility even in direct sunshine and has dedicated lighting for night-time use.

A unique feature of the SLIM series is the presence of 2 multi-coloured LED status bars (RGB) at the sides, allowing the operator to perceive states of alarm or other indications in real time.

The SLIM Virtual Terminals also have an integrated buzzer fitted as standard, along with a slot for micro SD card and a slot for USB pen drive, which can be used to update the operating software.

These terminals can be combined with the main GPS devices available on the market, for automatic control of rows and sections. Also in the high level components sector, MC Electronics offers the MCV 300 ON/OFF electric switching blade valve for pneumatic seed drills (positive pressure), which allows the operator to manage sowing when tram-line operation is required. There are two models, "MCV 300-2V" (two channels) and "MCV 300-3V" (three channels): both can be combined with a "cartridge type" photocell that can be used to check the passage of seeds (to optimise sowing) and can also be used as a diagnostic tool for the valve itself. Among the company's new entries are Blockage D23/30/45 photocells for fertilizer and seeds - sold in three different sizes (with diameter 23, 30 and 45 mm) - they are designed to check ON/OFF switching or blockage of granular fertilizer or seeds in pneumatic or mechanical seed drills.
