Targeted treatments with the S24 X fertilizer spreader
The S24 X is a mounted double-disc centrifugal spreader with a capacity of between 1,200 and 2,300 liters, equipped with the ADT system (improves the precision of the dose) and is one of the flagships of the DCM range. Just recently the fertilizer spreader made by the company from Verona received an important innovation, which will be presented next November at EIMA. This new Sonar system is specifically designed to allow the machine to locate the trunk or crown of plants to ensure even more precise treatments. The S24 X can distribute fertilizer and work in open fields up to 24 meters, in a localized manner (via accessories) in the inter-row or in the carriageway, or by burying it in the inter-row at a variable width from 1.6 to 2.2 meters. All components in direct contact with the fertilizer (hopper bottom, protective grates, opening and closing shutters, spreading discs, spreading blades, protective casing, bolts and agitators) are made of stainless steel (including the hopper, on request). The innovative process of making the fertilizer spreader even more resistant to corrosion also includes elctro static coating of the surface with zinc salts and then painting with epoxy powders. Furthermore, all the frames have been designed and manufactured in such a way that no points permit product accumulation and they are perfectly accessible for thorough cleaning and easy maintenance. For proper machine adjustment, in addition to the free DCM app for IOS and Android, there is a quantity control kit available which gives operators the ability to perform simulated distribution tests. Various optional distinctive features include a locator, a burying plow, an effective field spread test kit, the Limit-C edge distribution system and the Border-X rear edging system.
