SC 100e, the smart pruner from Stiga

The SC 100e is Stiga's first battery-powered multifunction pruner, designed and built to make it easier for the user to take care of hedges, flowerbeds and bushes. Equipped with a 500 W brushless motor, the SC 100e is powered by a Stiga ePower 20V 2 Ah battery that - reads a Group note - allows the new pruner to make 2,000 cuts on a single charge. The ePower 20V batteries are designed to be used with different types of equipment and are equipped with a “smart” system. This system recognises the tool in which the battery is being used and autonomously sets the appropriate working parameters, thereby optimising battery life.The SC 100e is a solid and balanced machine which, thanks to its ergonomic design and non-slip grip, allows the operator to work efficiently and quickly, without losing precision when pruning. This is ensured by the cutting apparatus composed of the blades, made of carbon steel, which can cut and trim branches up to a diameter of 3 centimetres. Finally, a push-button with a double locking system protects the operator in all working conditions.
