SAME's specialist vehicle performance
At the SAME stand at EIMA International, the focus was on the Treviglio-based company's specialized tractors, presented as part of its main best-selling range. Here are a few of the most successful models.
Frutteto Pro 115 S. The specialized tractors in the Frutteto series come in 5 power ranges from 91 to 116 Hp, also available in the Frutteto Pro, Frutteto Pro S and Frutteto Pro V versions. The Frutteto Pro models are distinguished by a series of technological features which – the manufacturer states in a technical note – increase productivity and comfort. The hydraulic system, which includes up to 8 distributors, including those in the forward position offers high performance, while the Hydro-Silent Block suspended cab with flat floor, combined with the new side console with adjustable hydraulic controls and the new PowerShuttle hydraulic lever, optimizes comfort and ergonomics.
Frutteto with platform. Like the Frutteto Pro, the Frutteto line – represented in Bologna by the Frutteto 105 – includes five models. The specialized models are offered with 3 and 4 cylinder engines, capable of delivering up to 116 Hp, a 68 l/min hydraulic system (with a maximum of 10 rear ports), ActiveDrive front axle suspension and an electronically controlled rear lift with vibration damping function.
Frutteto Natural. The two tractors in the series, the Frutteto Natural 70 and 80, feature the presence of powerful FARMotion 35 engines, extremely great configurability of the transmissions (available in versions from 8+8 up to 30+15 ratios) and by the rear lift, available in both “standard” and “compact” versions.
Explorer. This line of vehicles is perfect for working in olive groves and orchards with wide planting distances and in tunnel greenhouses. Their low center of gravity and 4-wheel braking ensure high safety in all operating conditions, even on hills and mountains. Adding to the versatility of these models is a robust front axle with oil-immersed disc brakes and 100% electro-hydraulic differential locks, for optimum traction even under the most demanding conditions.
Delfino. This range includes 3 models, with power ranging from 51 to 59 Hp, of which the Delfino 50 BASSO model stands out for its compactness from its low driving position and the folding safety bar in the front position. Designed to meet the needs of small farms, municipalities and green maintenance companies, the specialized Delfino models are equipped with a synchronized mechanical gearbox and simple, intuitive controls, making them a pleasure to use. The 2,200 cm³ 4-cylinder engines ensure reliability and performance with reduced fuel consumption. Their compact size also makes them ideal for working in restricted spaces, such as greenhouses, gardens or inside rows.
Krypton F. A tracked model that facilitates operation in rows with a steep slope, with a low center of gravity and generous support footprint that help ensure great stability. Its robust tracks enhance its maneuverability even when working on flat terrain. With an overall width ranging from 1.36 to 1.75 m, and a choice of track options, both steel and rubber, the Krypton F adapts perfectly to any working condition.
Virtus. This is the SAME range of vehicles with power between 115 and 135 Hp. These models are equipped with FARMotion Stage V engines and are now also available with the new HD axles which, in synergy with the RVshift transmissions with Full-Powershift concept, always maintain their smooth driving even in the most demanding operating conditions. Comfort is further enhanced by the new TopVision cabin, which features a spacious interior, and air-conditioning with the new semi-automatic A/C function to ensure an optimal microclimate under all conditions.
