Riva weeding wagon, a high-capacity machine
Galvanized (or painted) frame, low pressure diaphragm pump, polyethylene tanks, handwashing tank and system-washing tank with circuit. The Riva model weeding wagon is a towed application conceived by IMM of Canaletti di Budrio (Bologna), a company specializing in the manufacture of machines for weeding (its catalogue also includes mounted units and weeding bars).
With a capacity of 3,600 or 4,200 litres (depending on the versions), the Riva wagon – also highly visible at the Bologna show – can be equipped with different types of bars, such as the 24 or 28 metre Mec (the model displayed at EIMA International mounts the new 28 metre MEC N model bar), the 16, 18 and 21 meter Verti and, with the same working width, the Mec 4P. As standard, the Riva wagon is also equipped with an adjustable stirring system, a premixer with a 35-litre bottle-washer, a cushioned parallelogram lift, a rigid rudder with a cushioned hitch, and active hydraulic suspensions. The wheels are instead of the 300/95 R46 type, with a height of 175 centimetres and a width of 30.
The main strengths of this machine are the horizontal and vertical suspensions, the electronic leveling control, and the electric closing system of the individual nozzles. Finally, among other constructive advantages, we find the retractable hydraulic foot (for parking), the compact and centralized device for controlling the services, and the axle with active hydraulic suspensions.
