Range upgrade for the Romagna manufacturer Celli

At EIMA International Celli introduced the most popular models of the range along with several product previews. Of particular note among these are an innovative quick release system for harrow knives, the E/P 500 rotary tiller for working in rice fields and the Jupiter shredder. The quick release system, installed on a MAXI 300 harrow at the event – states the Forlì-based company – provides significant savings in time and energy. The innovation includes two pins that can be activated without the use of tools that make it possible to simultaneously disassemble both knives of the single rotor when damaged or worn. The pins have a diameter of 20 mm and are arranged on a single bracket that locks in the two tools. In order to extract them, the operator need only release a safety spring and remove the pins. The technology developed by the technicians of the Romagna-based company will go into production in 2025 and can be applied as an option to all the larger harrows in the Celli range, such as Energy and Maxi, both fixed and folding. Also on display under the spotlights at the Celli stand was the E/P 500 rotary tiller, designed to operate even on flooded terrain such as rice fields. Initially developed for the South Korean market starting from the fixed E version, this machine proposal from Celli is also capable of working effectively in Italian rice fields, where it has already been tested. Technical features such as the use of high yield strength steels make it lightweight, and its geometries allow for a very low weight/volume ratio as well as a single-speed gearbox that allows for adequate management of the rotor rotation. In Bologna, Celli also presented its new Jupiter semi-forestry shredder, designed to be combined with tractors with power ranging from 75 to 140 horsepower to shred grass, branches and wood up to 15 centimeters in diameter. The machine will be available with working widths ranging from 1.80 to 3 meters and will be equipped with hydraulic lateral movement and, in the reversible version, with a mount for frontal use.
