Next Edition, the best sellers for Massey Ferguson
At the Hanover exhibition, Massey Ferguson debuts the high-performance "Next" technology on four of the most popular models in the range: MF 5711 S Dyna-4 with 110 Hp, MF 5713 S Dyna-4 with 130 Hp, MF 7720 S Dyna-VT with 200 Hp, MF 7726 S Dyna-VT with 255 Hp. "We have done nothing but pay attention to the needs of our customers in the segments of our best-selling tractors, as well as to their functionality, equipment and transmission preferences, and to celebrate the success of these models - commented Francesco Quaranta, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Massey Ferguson Europe and Middle East - we offered them a truly tempting package. The Next Edition tractors bring our customers to a new level of performance and reliability, guaranteeing the possibility of performing any type of work". The two Next Edition models for the MF 5700 S series (MF 5711 S Dyna-4 with 110 Hp, and MF 5713 S Dyna-4 with 130 Hp) are equipped with the Dyna-4 semi-powershift transmission, which provides high performance on the farm, in the open field or in road transport, thanks to the 16 forward and 16 reverse gears that can be selected with a single lever, without using the clutch. The slender dashboard and the lowered and sloping bonnet enhance the manoeuvring agility and improve the view of the work area, while the Power Control lever to the left of the steering wheel optimizes handling of gear shifting and not just the reverser, without releasing the steering wheel, and the transition to neutral. Among the other construction features of the Next Edition tractors, we note the memorization of the engine speed, the shift to neutral with the brake pedal, the manually controlled air conditioning, the double-angle telescopic mirrors, the high visibility and the lowered bonnet, the swivel seat with automatic air suspension, and the mechanical suspension of the cab. The Next Edition versions of the MF 7720 series (MF 7720 S with 200 Hp and the MF 7726 S with 255 Hp) feature the innovative Dyna-VT CVT transmission. Designed specifically to meet the needs of contractors and farms, these new tractors employ simple and reliable technology to ensure efficiency and low operating costs. Thanks to the traction and lifting capacities in the field and on the road, the reduced fuel consumption, the minimum maintenance requirements and the long intervals between one intervention and another, the Next Edition tractors drastically reduce operating costs. The standard equipment includes a 110 L/min closed centre hydraulic system, four electronic distributors, active mechanical suspension of the cab, the Command Control armrest with Multipad lever, cruise control, and shifting to neutral with the brake pedal. But also the suspended Quadlink front axle, automatic air conditioning, wideangle mirrors with electric adjustment and defrosting, and the Datatronic 4 terminal to control all tractor functions. Lastly, also included in the basic equipment, the integrated front lift (IFLS) for heavy applications with lifting capacity up to 4,000 kg, the dedicated control for front distributor, and the SpeedSteer technology, which guarantees faster and easier manoeuvres by reducing the number of steering wheel revolutions needed to steer. The MF7700S Next Edition models are predisposed for Self-Driving, with additional Fieldstar 5 touch-screen terminal and additional optional features for precision farming.
