New Traxion 70: Traction power in 25 versions
The choice of the right tyre is becoming increasingly important in agricultural work, and to meet this growing expectation, India's Apollo Tyres has developed a new version of the Traxion+ tyre - Traxion 70 - produced under the Vredestein brand and on the market since early summer. Like its predecessor, the tyre is characterised by a special compound, curved tread blocks and a large contact area in the centre of the tread that guarantee long-lasting use. Wear resistance is further improved in the new version.
The tread block perpendicular to the direction of travel, in particular, offers considerable traction power. Thanks also to the centre-to-side distance between the blocks, the Traxion has a self-cleaning capacity that helps maintain traction and reduces the amount of mud left on the road. A complete range of Traxion tyres is now available, ranging from 16 to 42 inches for a total of 25 tyres for vehicles from 70 to 200 Hp, which can be purchased in the aftermarket and are already present in several tractor brands. Apollo Tyres is an Indian company founded in 1972, specialising in the design and production of tyres, which it markets under the Apollo and Vredestein brands.
It has six production sites, four in India and two more in the Netherlands and Hungary respectively, with a sales network in 100 countries and 5,000 dealers in the Asian country.
