Mowing in orchards: Orizzonti presents the "MIRA v. BAULE"
Orizzonti, a company specialising in the design and construction of agricultural machinery for the maintenance and pruning of vineyards and orchards, will be present at EIMA 2021 with its new MIRA reversible mulcher in the BAULE version, already awarded as a technical innovation at the last edition of Agrilevante.
This is a solution for mowing grass in citrus, almond and orchard (pomegranate, kiwi) groves, where the planting pattern requires a raised layout of the plants to facilitate irrigation drainage. It should be noted that the weed can be managed even if there is an irrigation pipe fixed to the ground, without damaging it during the work of the cutting discs. The construction of the inter-row system includes a raised rear wheeled trolley, hydraulically operated, to lift the inter-row up to a height of 80 centimetres from the ground, a management system with cutting disc probe with a diameter of between 60 and 80 centimetres, as well as the possibility of integrating a second front disc, combined with the first, with hydraulic cutting angle adjustment (without return probe) with a diameter of between 60 and 80 centimetres.
This is completed by an independent hydraulic system complete with oil, pump, heat exchanger, filter and oil level and temperature indicator, together with a joystick control for the complete management of the six hydraulic functions and cutting discs with a diameter of between 60 and 80 centimetres with a system to protect the irrigation pipe on the ground. Mira not only ensures a high level of management efficiency but also saves personnel, fuel and time.
